The installation guide linked on each product page calls for a subfloor that is clean, dry, and smooth, and free of grease, paint, wax, or debris that could affect adhesion. Dips and cracks should be filled with a leveling compound, with no more than 3/16 inch of unevenness over a 10-foot span. On concrete, test for moisture first and apply a moisture barrier if the test calls for one.

Following the linked guide, let the planks sit flat in the room, still in their packaging, for at least 48 hours. Spread a pressure-sensitive adhesive recommended by the manufacturer with a notched trowel, wait for it to turn tacky, then press each plank into place with seams staggered at least 6 inches. Roll the whole floor with a 100-pound flooring roller, keep foot traffic off it for 24 to 48 hours while the adhesive cures, and leave a slight gap when refitting baseboards or trim. We don't offer installation, so whoever lays the floor should follow the guide closely.

Foundation's warranty covers light commercial use, not general commercial use. Alongside a 20-year residential limited warranty, the line carries a 5-year light commercial limited warranty. The warranty defines light commercial as condos, apartments, hotel rooms, small retail shops and waiting rooms, and excludes common areas in condos, hotels or apartments, large retail stores and spaces with constant rolling loads.

Sweep with a soft-bristle broom or vacuum on a hard floor setting to pick up loose dirt, and use a dry mop or microfiber pad for dust. For a weekly clean, use a damp (not soaking) mop with a mild vinyl floor cleaner, then dry the floor to prevent water spots.
